Rachel Thompson serves as the Marketing and Business Development Director for Comanche County Medical Center Health System, where she leads marketing, community engagement, business development, and strategic outreach initiatives across the organization. With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, her background includes leadership, marketing, clinical operations, risk management, and physician practice administration across a variety of healthcare settings.
A graduate of McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, Rachel is passionate about strengthening rural healthcare and supporting the communities CCMC serves. She and her husband, Brad, have lived in Comanche since 2021, where they own and operate a local business and remain active supporters of the local economy and community.
Rachel serves as Secretary of the Comanche Educational Foundation Board of Directors and is dedicated to supporting initiatives that strengthen healthcare, education, and economic development throughout Comanche County. She and Brad have two sons, Alex and Aiden. Alex attends McMurry University, Rachel’s alma mater, where he plays football.
