X-Ray
Our X-ray equipment meets all current digital standards. Both X-ray rooms and the portable are less than 3 years old and have the industry’s best detectors. Radiographs of the highest diagnostic quality are produced consistently. EXPECT the best quality imaging and care when you come to Comanche County Medical Center!
Computed Tomography (CT)
Our Canon-Toshiba 64-slice CT scanner is able to accommodate all CT studies and almost all CTA (Computed Tomography Angiography). We are honored to be one of the few sites across Central Texas that provides Low Dose Lung CT(LDLCT) in association with Moncrief Cancer Institute. We look forward to offering more CT services in the near future!
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Our 1.5 Tesla magnet is capable of producing high quality images of the musculoskeleton, brain, spine, and soft tissues.
Ultrasound/Echocardiogram
Our ultrasound equipment is capable of performing cardiac, vascular, breast, and general ultrasound exams.
Nuclear Medicine
One of the most unique modalities that we have here at CCMC is our Nuclear Medicine department. This equipment is capable of nuclear cardiac stress workups, bone scans, biliary scans, and many other physiological tests.
Bone Densitometry (DEXA)
DEXA equipment is used to diagnose osteoporosis. Bone health is particularly important post-menopausal women and in the elderly.
Mammography
We provide screening and diagnostic mammography services. Our Hologic Selenia Dimensions mammography unit produces both 2D and 3D tomosynthesis images essential for more accurate diagnosis. Breast health is important to us, so we have partnered with Moncrief Cancer Institute ensuring this imaging service is available to underinsured and uninsured patients.
