Yasmin Wilkinson, MS, MD

Dr. Wilkinson has been serving the women of Central Texas since 2016, when she joined the Brownwood Women’s Clinic. Practicing both gynecology and obstetrics, Dr. Wilkinson graduated from Texas A&M College of Medicine before completing her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She served as chief resident while earning awards in research, humanism, and medical education. When asked why she chose Obstetrics and Gynecology Wilkinson said “I felt that taking care of women was my calling. From adolescence through childbearing, to menopause and beyond, women are simply amazing! I may deliver a baby in the morning; see patients experiencing pelvic pain and menopausal symptoms in clinic; perform a hysterectomy at lunch and do minor procedure in the afternoon – my day is never boring and no two are the same. It has been my honor to care for the women of Brown County and the surrounding areas.”
