Respiratory Therapist

Comanche County Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. This position provides respiratory care services to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician, including assessment, treatment, monitoring, and patient education.

Responsibilities include administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, managing ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP and Vapotherm devices, performing arterial blood gas collection and analysis, conducting pulmonary function testing, EKGs, stress testing, and assisting with airway clearance therapies. The Respiratory Therapist collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
CRT or RRT credential required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Critical care experience preferred
