Scope/Impact
Performs duties to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair functions on hospital equipment and facilities.
Job Functions
- Monitors work order requests and completes tasks within their skill sets.
- Checking and changing filters on ventilating, heating, and air conditioning units as needed.
- Servicing kitchen, appliances, and emergency equipment, reporting mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action.
- Checking all areas of facility for lights out, ceiling tiles that are stained, plumbing fixtures that are not operating properly, and correcting any deficiencies noted.
- Moving and assisting in transportation of furniture and equipment.
- Setting up and breaking down cubicle partitions, exercising discretion to identify projects that need higher skilled crafts individual’s services.
- Painting, drywall repair and preparation, light construction as needed.
- Activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls after and during regular work hours.
- Assist, as needed or requested, other team members in the accomplishment of their duties.
- Perform any other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Experience: One-year prior experience in a maintenance related position.
