Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing healthcare team.
This is a full-time position providing high-quality patient care in a rural healthcare setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients and community. This position will be in the Doctor’s Medical Clinic/CCMC in Comanche, TX.

Essential Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan.
- Obtain medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Texas regulations and CCMC policies.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current Texas licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Previous clinic, family practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience preferred.
