Job Functions
- Receives charts/orders and schedules radiology exams.
- Responsible for making sure appropriate lab values are on the chart or requests lab orders.
- Monitors outstanding charts that have not been scheduled on a routine basis.
- Reviews admissions by checking information against patient records for accuracy and advises the Business Office of any discrepancies.
- Requests information from physician’s offices and Medical Records as needed to verify order issues.
- Schedule all Imaging Diagnostic procedures to include MRI, Ultrasound, CT, Doppler, Nuclear medicine, etc.
- Adheres to all CCMC policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all legal Compliance Policies of CCMC.
- Comply and maintain patient and hospital confidentiality.
- Reports to work on time as scheduled and completes work assignments within designated time.
- Must be dependable, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Must have efficient work organization and time management skills.
- Duties require intermittent walking, sitting and standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned.
- Acts as the receptionist for radiology lab and respiratory departments.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, staff, patients and visitors.
- Maintains necessary levels of required supplies.
