Victor J. Hirsch, MD, MSC, FACP, an esteemed Texas Big Country Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, recently joined the specialist medical staff of the Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC) Health System. His new office is located in Abilene in the Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center, 2225 S. Danville Dr, Suite 2. He is also seeing patients at CCMC Doctors Medical Center, a large health clinic in Comanche, next to the CCMC Hospital and Pharmacy.
Dr. Hirsch has expertise in Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Care, and Pain Management. Hirsch received his medical degree from University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School, completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, and completed several clinical fellowships in his specialties.
Hirsch is a founder of the Cancer Services Network, an Abilene-based nonprofit foundation helping area cancer patients, survivors, families, and caregivers through direct financial and other support programs. He is well-known for his quality of care for patients; most recently he practiced at regional medical centers in Brownwood and Abilene.
